THE DETECTIVE INSPECTOR JOHN CAHILL BOOK SERIES

Hi, if you are reading this, you likely read my first book, "THE DEADLY STEPS" . I hope you enjoyed it. You will have seen that it is not your typical commercial 'Murder Mystery'. In fact it is not a mystery at all. 

THE DEADLY STEPS is a story! It is a story about police officers, who are trying to solve the most awful crimes. This story allows the reader, especially those who have never been in law enforcement, to be part of the investigative team and see what is involved in getting a case to court and securing a conviction. 

THE DEADLY STEPS is also a story about victims and their families and the brutality of murder.

The photograph at the top of this post is Suttons Buildings, Cork City. These houses are around 100 years old and most are owned by the City Council and rented to families. This is the type of house where our victim, Erin McGill lived in with her parents.
