The photo above was taken at the Lee Fields, when I visited Cork in November 2022. What a beautiful place to walk and unwind.
MARCH has been a very busy month. It is my fist time using any form of social media and I dived in, head first. I set up a FACEBOOK account and an INSTAGRAM account. Thankfully, Mary, my wife walked me through the process. After I had this set up, I sent out a few posts telling people a little bit about THE DEADLY STEPS. The feedback has been amazing.
Many people have bought the book and all have good things to say about it. Thank you all very much. THE DEADLY STEPS has been great for me too. It allowed me to unload some of the baggage and garbage that I collected after a lifetime of police work. Although, it was the best job in the world and I have zero regrets because I enjoyed every single minute of it, I did collect some baggage on the journey. Nobody calls 911 (or 999) when they are having a good day. They only call the police when they are having their worst day ever. The police that show up are human too and do the best they can.
As for sudden violent death, or murder, this is the most negative thing that one can work on. Having said that, there is a thrill to hunting for a killer who desperately wants to get away with murder! I would not change anything for the world.
I am sending ALIBI for an ALIBI out for proof reading right away and hope to publish it in the Autumn of this year.
Finally, I must pay my respects to our Brothers in Blue in Edmonton Alberta. They lost two of their hero's last week, when they were ambushed and shot dead. You will never be forgotten.
TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE... O'.D.
READ THE DEADLY STEPS available as an E-Book or paperback from all digital booksellers.
